Earlier this year Saled delivered durable LED lighting to Van Elburg Upholstery in Silvolde. By switching to LED, the company will save more than 65% on energy costs. A total of 137 existing fluorescent tubes are replaced one-to-one by Saled LED tubes. The existing fixtures have been reused. The installation was carried out by Van Elburg’s own staff.
The fluorescent tubes in the workshop of Van Elburg did not yield the desired light output anymore. However, the fixtures were not yet in need of replacement. The upholsterer was therefore looking for a solution to replace fluorescent tubes one-to-one by energy efficient LED tubes. Soon they came out to Saled. After some good consultations Van Elburg chose for the Silver Line LED Tubes from the Saled product line.
Installation by the own staff
In total Saled delivered 137 LED tubes to Van Elburg. To be precise: 92 tubes of 18 watt with a length of 120 cm and 45 tubes of 22 watt with a length of 150 cm. The replacement of the tubes is completely carried out by Van Elburg’s own staff. Besides a substantial saving on energy costs, the company will therefore also save on mounting costs, making the investment is recouped even faster.
