Mid-October Saled once again provided 1600 LED light sources to the municipality of Nijkerk. The supply consists of PS-L, LS-S and PS-T lamps. The total amount of Saled LED light sources is now 6500 units. The installation, executed by Pilkes, started directly after the supply and is expected to be finished mid-December.
Since 2013, the municipality of Nijkerk is annually active in replacing conventional lighting to energy efficient LED lighting. From the first moment, the preference has gone to the high quality LED light sources of Saled, and this has not changed since then. Given the replacement of 1500 units each year, the 6000th Saled-lamp has been placed in the meantime. A milestone for the company!
Recouped within four years
Exactly 1618 lamps required replacement this year. It is about the types PL-L, SOX and PL-T. In their places will come Saled’s PS-L, LS-S and PS-T. The total energy use will be reduced from 59.462 to 28.005 watt. The energy savings that this 1618 light sources achieve together are enormous. Savings of more than 130.915 kWh ensure that the total investment will be fully recouped within four years.
